Beckett Mercer Ferguson-Mikita is the firstborn child of actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband, Justin Mikita. He was born on July 7, 2020, via a surrogate mother in New York City. While talking to James Corden on The Late Night-talk show in January 2020, Jesse Ferguson mentioned that he would become a father but wanted to keep it private.
Beckett Mercer is not the only child, as he has a younger sibling called Sullivan Louis Ferguson-Mikita, born in November 2022.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband did a baby shower for their firstborn child in February, in a colorful ceremony attended by several guests. Among the guests were Ferguson’s costars in the comedy series Modern Family. Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita met in 2010; they dated for two years before their engagement in Mexico in 2012. The lovely couple wedded on July 20, 2013, in an event attended by several stars and friends. The ceremony, which took place in New York City, was officiated by Tony Kushner.

At one time, Beckett’s father was caught stealing gay porn from a bookstore; when his parents saw what he was carrying, he had to tell them he was gay. However, it was embarrassing for him, and he was holding a book for straight porn, so his father got a bit confused.
Despite having a hard time accepting that his son was gay, Jesse’s father came to terms with his son’s sexuality, and funny enough, he was at his wedding and danced with a lot of joy.
Beckett’s other father, Jesse, is a lawyer and has few acting credits. Beckett’s parents are also philanthropists, and during their engagement, they launched The Knot, a non-profit organization supporting same-sex marriages.

Beckett mercer’s father is famous for his role as Mitchell Pritchett on the comedy series Modern Family, which he played from 2009 to 2020. On television, Jesse Tyler appeared as Richie Velch in the sitcom The Class. His other television roles include Do Not Disturb, So You Think You Can Dance, Running Wild with Bear Grylls, and Night Cap.
For his role in the comedy series Modern Family, Beckett’s father received several nominations and won some awards, including Screen Actors Guild Award. For his other performances in Take Me Out, You Need to Calm Down, and Fully Committed is also received nominations and awards.
