Taylor Halbur and Adam Lind welcomed Paislee Mae Leonard (formerly Lind) into the world on September 3, 2013. Aubree, Paislee’s older half-sister through Adam, is her. Her mother’s husband offered her assistance.
According to the research, it was found that Adam Lind has signed off the parental rights of his daughters. Adam Lind, a former Teen Mom 2 parent, may no longer have legal custody of both of his biological daughters, but the moms of the girls are working to keep the half-sisters close.
Joe Leonard, Taylor’s husband, was permitted to adopt Paislee in 2018 after Adam consented to give up his parental rights. Even though the sisters technically no longer have a father in common, Taylor said she and Chelsea still try to bring the girls together whenever they can.
Taylor stated, “With COVID and everything, it threw a wrench in everyone’s schedules. “I know Chelsea and I have very hectic schedules, especially during the winter and throughout the school year. We currently can’t get them together as frequently as we would want due to COVID on top of everything else.
We’ll eventually return to the point when we can gather the girls at the park or the movies, she said. “I think it’ll be a lot easier after all the COVID stuff dies down,” she said. Paislee “loves Aubree so much,” said Taylor.
While Adam no longer has parental rights over Paislee, he still has those rights over Aubree, despite being sporadic in his financial and physical involvement in Aubree’s upbringing. (Last month, a judge issued an order declaring the $2,000 bond Adam posted in August to get out of jail forfeited and released to the division of child support.) Taylor remarked that Chelsea’s choice to leave “Teen Mom 2” after 10 seasons “takes a lot of courage.”
She said, “She’s been on it long enough to know what she wants. “She’s been doing it for so long; I think it takes a lot of bravery for her to leave. I believe it’s fantastic if they choose to do that, if that is what they want to do.
It is regrettable that Adam Lind is the father of Aubree and Paislee, and regrettable for Chelsea and Taylor that they have had to try to co-parent with him for all these years. But let’s all give Chelsea and Taylor a round of applause for their ability to move on and find someone who is ready and able to step up and be a good husband and father!
Legally speaking, this implies that his daughter could adopt a different last name. His second relationship with Aubree, his daughter, also doesn’t seem to be going strong.
A warrant was issued earlier this year for Adam’s arrest because he hasn’t been paying Aubree’s child support in months or potentially years.
Taylor and Adam’s court case was not videotaped, and Adam hasn’t (willingly) appeared on “Teen Mom 2” since Season 7, so it’s unlikely that it will be shown in the upcoming season.
